Kavita Saxena, founder of Sai Sparsh Charitable Trust, started her food and chai brand 100mlChai as an initiative to empower women and enable them to lead independent and self-sufficient lives. 100ml Chai provides women who have faced many hardships and long to thrive as financially stable beings who contribute to the family income and provide for themselves and their loved ones, which is the first right of every human being, access to an independent life.

In addition, 100mlChai offers franchise business opportunities for women who have the talent and desire to open their own food and snack business. In other words, 100mlChai aims to turn women across India into entrepreneurs by opening up new opportunities for them.

To give you an idea of what they are working towards, think of your maid. We have all had maids in our lives who are the main, if not the only, source of income for their entire family. Many of us feel helpless when it comes to supporting them financially as each of us struggles to earn a stable income. With this initiative, we offer an opportunity to women who want to become entrepreneurs and live a better life. With our different models, we have something for every woman! The very first outlet of 100mlChai as Corporate Chai Tapri was established in Thane at PlatinumOne. Why a corporate Chai Tapri, you may ask…? They wanted to ensure not only that these women had employment opportunities, but also a workplace that would give them a sense of security and allow them to work in a safe environment. Since chai and a tea break with hot snacks and lots of fun conversation is every Indian’s love, 100mlChai is a blend of flavors and tasty hack to get through your 9-5 job with the urge to get up every now and then to enjoy your favorite chai right at work, with a positive catch – with every chai you buy or snack you devour, you are helping us empower one woman at a time!

Through our corporate chai tapris, we offer women a 9-month training program in which they learn how to cook and run a business. The HERstory program provides a stable, fixed salary for the first three months. Then, a salary plus a percentage of commission on sales for the next three months.
