New Time Table For Mumbai Local Train From 1st October 2022

The time table of Western Railway Mumbai local trains have changed and came into effect from today 1st October 2022.

The decision taken for change in time table is to ensure better passenger convenience and comfort. May be the changes have taken place to accomodate new 31 AC services and 12 non AC services.

Mostly the timings of trains are preponed by few minutes.

Following are the changes at glance that came in effect:
1) The new 31 AC services started with 15 services in UP direction towards Churchgate and 16 services in Down direction from Churchgate), taking the current total from 48 to 79.
2) The 12 new non AC services started with seven services on UP direction and five services in Down direction.
3) The four services are cancelled.
4) The 15 coach services has been increased by 27 services, thereby taking the total to 106 from 79.
5) The following are five new services in Down direction

• fast train from Churchgate to Virar,
• two locals from Churchgate to Borivali,
• one from Andheri to Vasai Road
• one from Virar to Dahanu Road

• one fast train from Dahanu Road to Churchgate and
• one fast train from Virar to Churchgate,
• two trains from Borivali to Churchgate,
• one slow train from Virar to Borivali
• one slow train from Vasai Road to Andheri
• one slow train from Goregaon to Churchgate.
