Navi Mumbai To Mumbai In 30 Minutes

Navi Mumbai to Mumbai city is going to be 30 minutes ride as compared to the current 2 hours of travel. The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (Cidco) has informed that work on Nerul jetty is in its final stages and will be completed by March 2021. The project was delayed due to Covid pandemic

CIDCO – Nerul
Bombay Port Trust (BPT) – Bhaucha Dhakka
Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) – Mandwa

Project Cost: Rs 111 crores

Travel routes:
Between from Nerul to Bhaucha Dhakka (1st stage)
Between from Nerul to Rewas, Mandwa. (2nd stage)

Travel Time:
Present travelling time: Approx 2 hrs
Jetty travelling time: Approx 30 minutes.

Expected day to complete project: March 2021
