Mumbai just escaped Severe Cyclone Nisarga in June 2020 which diverted to Shrivardhan in Raigad district and badly affected those areas. But whether Mumbai will be now safe from Very Severe Cyclone “Tauktae”? It is highly likely that the Cyclone going to be very near to the coast, the devastating effects will be felt.

The cyclone, will move north-northwest wards intensifying further.
This Cyclone is one of the unique kind which is moving closely along the west coast of India. It created havoc in Kerala, Karnataka coast with it’s high wind and rainfall.
Last year it was NISARGA and now TAUKTAE, the Maharashtra coast has become vulnerable to Cyclones which was a rare event.
What if Tauktae affects Mumbai? What will happen if winds reach upto 219 kmph to 240 kmph? How is Mumbai going to face the fury?
