Mumbai Girl Is Serving The People of New Jersey

Today Mumbai is the hotspot of Covid-19 cases having highest number of affected Corona virus patients and deaths. All doctors, police, social workers along with the Government doing their best to counter the virus and serve the Mumbaikars. The spirit of Mumbai is always tested under adverse conditions and this situation even demands more. But Mumbaikars are ready for this challenge may it be at home or overseas. Yes, a girl from Mumbai showing her true spirit in helping the people of United States against the virus.

The Covid-19 is showing no respite in United States where whole system is fighting to overcome it. There are many Indians who are part of their team. Among them there is a girl from Mumbai serving the people in the city of New Jersey.

Her name is Mekhala Mathure. She is working as a hospitalist in New Jersey for last 14 years after finishing her Internal Medicine. Prior to that she had worked in many departments during her studies.

She did her schooling from Scottish school Mahim and M.B.B.S from prestigious G.S medical college in Mumbai & K.E.M Hospital. Her grandfather was also a doctor & she is a daughter of a well known surgeon Ashok Mathure. He is a Head of the Nair teaching hospital.

Inspite of strenious work in hospital ICU, Mekhala enjoys her work & do it tirelessly. According to her the moments make her happy when the patients are cured and go home.

It is a pleasure when you save someone taking care but ofcourse risking yourself . Hospital is taking good care & you can see how like a soldier one has to go inside the ward, fight with the enemy & save people who look up to you as a God.
