Mukkti Cultural Hub – A Multi Use Spaces For Artistic Expression

The locales of Andheri/Versova have got a new place for artistic and cultural expression. This cultural hub known as Mukkti Cultural Hub was recently established on 19th May 2019. Inauguration was done by the superstar Shri Amitabh Bachhan

Mukti. Cultural Hub provides multi-use spaces for artistic assertion and its going to be hub of entertainment.

This initiative taken by Smita Thackeray, after her decades of working in the social service sector through her ‘Mukkti Foundation’ and proving her successful hand in Indian cinema. She has opened up this space after identifying a need for it in Andheri west, where art in the form of dance, music, paintings and performance can be honed and showcased.

Mukkti Cultural Hub has various performance stages such as:

• an auditorium capable of accommodating 350 people,
• 680 sq ft of workshop space,
• 1000 sq ft of open terrace space,
• a 2500 sq ft dance studio.

Every care have been taken of every detail, not just infra-structurally but also ideologically- by providing State of the Art equipment alongside wheelchair accessibility in all spaces. The owners hope that Mukkti Cultural Hub becomes a junction of intersection for a wide varieties of artistic and intellectual pursuits, pulling in diverse crowds through its doors.
