India as country is going through a critical phase where there is total unrest and Young generation is being ignited and taken the task to remove injustice not only against them but against those people who are threat to Indian democracy. Whatever today is happening in the form of protest which Youngsters have taken the initiative had been only seen in movies. People were inspired that something must be done. Today situation is opposite, something is happening unexpected which films had inspired people. In all this chaos one voice remain silent. It was expected that who inspired millions will make a difference but still it didn’t happened.
Lakhs of fans and people who are very much disappointed from the silence of one man. Why this one man because he had lived the character, who inspired through his acting and taught the people what they are doing today to change the regime. That man is Aamir Khan.
Here is letter from a sincere fan who is polite, understanding and yet questioning his idol!!
“Dear Aamir Khan,
How are you? Where are you? I don’t know about others but I knew that you are one of those person who don’t compromise on values, who is far sighted, who is not a stereotype. Thinks out of box.
You had shown that you are the Man with purpose. It was reflected through your show such as Satyamev Jayate and your social cause of Pani foundation and many other such activities.
In recent months something triggered and there was birth of Cockroach Janata Party. There was movement initiated against the total unrest of our Country’s system. In this movement, Sonam Wangchuk joined supporting the youngsters. I didn’t believe that something of this level happening in our country for which for years all the citizens were kept quiet and had left it to the fate of country.
Whatever is happening were perfectly depicted in movies of a person to whom I consider my idol. I very well remember Rang De Basanti and it’s dialogues:
“Koi bhi desh perfect nahi hota, usse behtar banana padta hai.”
“Ab bhi jiska khoon na khaula, khoon nahin voh paani hai … joh desh ke kaam na aaye woh bekaar jawani hai”
The sequence in the movie of Candle lighting during the protest had set the example and people imitated it. Rang De Basanti was such a movie that rightly appealed the young generation.
You most of the films were meaningful and 3 idiots was unmatched while playing the character of Phungsuk Wangadu. My chest raised for you that such examples can only be set by my Aamir Khan.
Today unfortunately country going through the unexpected phase, but I feel proud that Youths have come forward to fight against the system which rightly resonate the mood set by Rang De Basanti. My expectation about you sky rocketed when Sonam Wangchuk joined the movement.
I was waiting anxiously that anytime a support would had come from your end or atleast some words which would have kept our faith in you being a person who always believed his action.
A person who really lived the character in his movies which is the mirror effect from reel to real life.
But to my huge disappoint not a single word was uttered rather there was a defensive word that the character of Phungsuk Wangdu is not real character of Sonam Wangchuk.
Why I look at you as a Icon?
I am not bothered who is making what statement or who have remain quite, but you as the person with Purpose makes you different from all. I do understand that it is your personal choice what you want to opt for. But being so fearless and straight forward personality what makes you step back when country is going through critical phase.
What fear is holding you back?
Though you haven’t uttered a word in supporting the movement, I still believe that sooner or later you will do so and waiting for right moment.
Again it is your own choice.
But Aamir, please understand what is the use when something was expected from the person like you who never uttered a single word when really mattered.
If you can’t relive the moment which you had taught and inspired us from your movie, than what is the use?
If you remain silent and even if you tomorrow come up some extra ordinary movies including 3 idiot part -2, what it will portray about you as a person?
Definitely you have done many things which had benefited people and I still believe that you will come out in support of today’s young generation movement.
You will really make feel proud that you are not only my Reel Hero but also a Real Hero.
