Girgaum Chowpatty beach is situated in southern Mumbai. The beach is close to Charni Road Station and situated at one end of the Queen’s Necklace.
The beach provides a scenic view of sky scraper buildings of Nariman Point and Cuffe Parade on its left and beautiful view of Malabar Hill with dense trees of Hanging garden on its right.
It’s a small beach which is clean and will find some food stalls at the entrance of the beach. It is the beach famous where most of the famous Ganesh idols from Lalbaug and Girgaum are immersed in the sea during Ganesh Festival
How to reach:
Railway: Walking distance from Charni Road station on the west side.
BEST Bus:
Bus no. 123 either from Mumbai Centrral Station (Tardeo) or Churchgate station.
