Here are some of the photos of WMO Day weathet exhibition on 23rd March 2017 at Regional Meteorological Centre, Colaba, Mumbai.
The exhibition was very well received by huge crowd comprising of students of schools, college students and weather enthusiasts.
The exhibition displayed miniature presentation of Airport model, Observatory model consisting of weather instruments, other various weather instruments and a presentation giving introduction about the types of clouds explaining its significance towards various weather phenomenon.
The chief guest was Suhas Diwase, Director of Disaster Management Unit.

Like every year on 23rd March being World Meteorological Day, Regional Meteorological Centre, Colaba is organising exhibition on weather related information and services.
It is a exhibition open to all where people will get to see and understand all the instruments such Barometer, Seismology instruments, Automatic Weather Station (AWS), Radio Sonde (Used for measuring upper air weather parameters), Observatory instruments, Rain gauge, Aviation instruments and services etc.
WMO Theme of 2017:
Understanding Clouds is the theme of World Meteorological Day 2017 to highlight the enormous importance of clouds for weather climate and water. Clouds are central to weather observations and forecasts. Clouds play a critical role in the water cycle and shaping the global distribution of water resources.
