Mumbaikars save your ward contact numbers on your mobile phone. So you can be aware of the availability of corona beds and where to go. BMC has updated its ward control contact number so that citizens can call them to know the availability of beds for the positive cases of Covid-19.
These numbers are operational from 10th June 2020. BMC has set up ‘war rooms’ at each wards level for speedy and efficient for allotment of beds and facilities for patients affected with Covid 19.
Mumbai has 24 wards and they will have their own helpline numbers. They will be responsible for everything from finding out the symptoms of COVID-positive patients in their area, conducting medical tests, arranging for ambulances and getting them beds in the BMC’s COVID care facilities, and for critical patients, in hospitals. Mumbai has 24 administrative wards.
