Bharat Vikas Parishad, Jijamata Powai Chandivali Branch organized a grand National Group Song Competition on Sunday, 03 August 2025 at A.M. Naik School, L&T, Powai from 9 AM till 6 PM. The program had a total attendance of about 330 people including 180 students, 70 teachers from 21 schools.
The objective of this program is to promote patriotism and Indian culture among children and to inculcate a sense of love and pride towards the country in them.
The program started with lighting of lamps and the entire Vande Mataram was sung. The chief guests of the program were Dy Commissioner of Income Tax Mr. Kumar Rajeev Prasad ji and Professor Anand Khanna ji of IIT Bombay.
The Students gave their performances with great enthusiasm and zeal in singing Hindi, Sanskrit and folk songs and mesmerized the audience.
Chandivali Assembly MLA Honorable Shri Dilip Mama Lande ji also joined for some time and enjoyed the beautiful performances of the students.
*S M Shetty School* got the first place in the competition and will further participate in the Prant level competition. The results of the competition were given by 3 specially qualified judges.
Film producer and actor Mr. Jayanand Shetty, Mr. Srinivas Tripathi, Mr. Satyapal Malik, Mr. Bhaskar Dubey, HM of Primary Section of A M Naik School, Mrs. Archana Joshi, Education Director of Prime Academy School, Mrs. Chawla Joshi, Maharashtra Police ACP Mr. Bharat Kumar Suryavanshi and other dignitaries graced the program by attending it.

Branch Sanskar Coordinator Mrs. Madhuri Varal, NGSC Coordinator Mrs. Ruchi Bansal, Mrs. Sapna Inani, GVCA Coordinator Mrs. Mohini Sharma had a special contribution in organizing the program beautifully. Many other members of the branch contributed to make this program successful by giving their valuable time.
Branch President Mrs. Dipti Jhanwar, Branch Secretary Mr. Girish Rajmani and Treasurer Mr. Sunil Agrawal ensured that the program was conducted smoothly and expressed their gratitude towards the participants and attendees.
