Juhu Beach

Juhu Beach famously known as Juhu Chowpatty. It is located in the western suburb between Santacruz and Vile-Parle, in Mumbai. It is the most crowded beach all day long with indulgence in street food is also popular here. The 6km long beach is the longest in Mumbai. It was the common beach spotted in most of the old hindi movies.

The beach is crowded mostly at the main beach. There are several stalls of Bhelpuri, Pav bhaji and other eateries. There are also some fun activities for kids. Juhu beach is famously known for its Bhelpuri. Anyone visiting first time or even everytime shouldn’t give a miss to it.

Avoid visiting the beach during Monsoon season due to rough sea. Best time to visit is post monsoon season.

How to reach:
The nearest railway stations to Juhu beach are Vile Parle and Santacruz which fall on the western line.

From there, one can hire an auto-rickshaw with approximate fare of Rs. 50.

BEST bus route no. 231 directly from Santacruz station (West) takes you to Juhu beach for only Rs 10.
