Barrister Badruddin Tyabji (10 October 1844 – 19 August 1906)

Badruddin Tyabji was the first Indian to practice as a barrister of the High Court of Bombay. He was born on 10 October 1844 in city of Bombay which was the part of Bombay Presidency. His father name was Mullah Tyab Ali Bhai Mian belonged to Sulaimani Bohra community.

Involvement With Indian National Congress
Badruddin Tyabji and his brother Camruddin strongly believed in functioning of Congress party. They had deep involvement with the party and tried convince people that this party didn’t believed in religion and treated all equally. He became third President of the Indian National Congress between 1887–88, he focused on uniting the Muslim community. He gain huge support from all religions specially Hindu and Muslims

Death: On 26 August 1906, while on a furlough in London, England Badruddin Tyabji died suddenly of a heart attack.
