Mumbaikar’s Shine at Global Robotics Olympiad, Win Gold & Bronze

A group of students from Mumbai, won gold for Zhang Heng Engineering Design Award and bronze for Global Challenge The event was organised by FIRST Global in Washington, in which 157 countries participated.

Rahesh, a 15 year old student youngest of the group led the Indian team. Other team members were, Raghav (robot driver), Tejas (Robot controller), Adhyyan,( robot tactician), Harsh Bhatt (alliance strategist), Aadiv Shah (team spokesperson), alliance strategist; Vatsin, alliance analyst.

The Afghan team won the Rajaa Cherkaoui El Moursli award for courageous achievement.

Mexico City would host the competition next year in 2018.
