Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum

Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Musuem located inside Rani Bagh or Jijamata Udyan is one of Mumbai’s prized and oldest structure. Ealier it was known as Victoria and Albert Museum which was built in 1872. One can find a rare collection of great number of archaeological findings, photographs, maps, historical artifacts and relics.

Dr. Ramkrishna Vitthal Lad, also known as Dr. Bhau planned the construction of the museum in 1855. The museum is presently known as ‘Dr. BhauDaji Lad Museum’ for his dedication to the museum.
